Former rebels sit in a car in training camp near the village of Luberizi, South Kivu in Democratic republic of Congo on Wednesday, July 25, 2007. Fighters from all the former warring factions go through a ‚brassage‘ integration process. After a 45-days training course they join the Congolese army – the FARDC (Forces Armees de la Republique Democratique du Congo), which is made up of elements from all the former warring factions.
