Petr Seifert je vojákem v činné službě od roku 1993. Prošel řadou velitelských a štábních funkcí u různých útvarů AČR. Je absolventem US Army Drill Sergeant School v Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, USA (2005). V letech 2006-2007 se zúčastnil zahraniční operace Iraqi Freedom v Iráku. Od roku 2006 do roku 2008 působil ve funkci vrchního praporčíka Výcvikové základny ve Vyškově a od roku 2009 ve funkci vrchního praporčíka Velitelství podpory AČR ve Staré Boleslavi. V letech 2010-2011 byl studentem US Army Sergeants Major Academy ve Fort Bliss, Texas, USA. V současné době je vrchním praporčíkem AČR. | Petr Seifert has been a professional soldier since 1993. He has served in various command and staff positions throughout his career. He graduated from US Army Drill Sergeant School (Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, USA) in 2005. He was deployed in Iraq between 2006 and 2007 in operation Iraqi Freedom. He served in the position of the command sergeant major of the Training Base in Vyškov from 2006 to 2008. In 2009, he became the command sergeant major of the Support Command of the Army of the Czech Republic and in 2011, he has became the third Sergeant Major of the Czech Army. He is a graduate of the Class 61, US Army Sergeants Major Academy, Fort Bliss, Texas, USA.
